Health Benefits of Green Mango

Did you know that Green Mango has different health benefits than ripe ones?

Green Mango is full of lots of vitamin C, and they are great for warding off anemia and for increasing the integrity of blood vessels. Green Mango is good for the liver helping to increase the secretion of bile acids and cleans the intestines of bacterial infections. Green Mango is great for constipation and for mothers with morning sickness. Green Mango helps the body absorb iron and some people say the Green Mango juice is good for sun stroke, and Green Mango Juice is great for sore throats.     In some tropical countries green mango is sliced into bite size pieces and eaten with Bago-ong (a shrimp paste), or Salt & Sugar Mix (mix 40%salt & 60%sugar), and still, others pickle it in salty, sweety, vinegary water and add hot green peppers. I would like to hear different variations from other readers.

    Green Mango shake, mixed with simple syrup and crushed ice is an awesome drink! May want to trim the rim of the glass with some salt for added contrast :)
