Health Benefits of Sea Breeze or Salt Air

There have been many studies on Sea Breezed Salt Air as being beneficial for the body.

Being around electronic equipment, power lines, can increase aging and possibly cause cancer because of positive ions produced by electrical devices.

Salt Air Breezes have the ability to produce negative ions that negate the positive ion deleterious effects.

Salt Air contains lots of free electrons that neutralize free radicals in the body… thus improving health. A study was done at the University of California showing that Negative Ions can kill bacteria and thus improve health. The University of Melbourne found that Salt Air or Negative Ions also boosted the immune system.

Negative ions lift the spirits of those who are depressed and also helps those suffering from asthma. And studies have been done showing that for some people Negative Ion therapy or going to the beach can be the best treatment for depression and mood disorders.

And many people find that near the beach they can concentrate better, fatigue goes away, and they can relax and sleep better.

Sea Breezes lower the number of bacteria found in homes… and when there is a building with “SICK BUILDING SYNDROME” negative ions seem to lower the bacteria count in the building.

Negative ions can also be found around rivers, just after a rain, in the mountains, in the woods, near waterfalls, and of course on the beach.

But the best place for negative ions is near the ocean… do yourself a favor and spend some time at the beach.
