“Who is Watching Your Mind — How to Find Deep Inner Peace”

Just the other day, a man came to me and said, “I’ve noticed my mind is angry”. And I asked, “Who is Watching Your Mind?”

Then I said, “That which is watching your mind is your true-self, your pure awareness.” That which is timeless, that which goes on throughout multiple lifetimes watching and noticing everything with peaceful calm within.

People Never Notice Their Mind

Most people never notice their mind… they are too busy using their mind to even check on what their mind is doing. And they think that their mind is who they are… but they are mistaken. Otherwise, who is watching their mind? 

We are Distracted By the Outer World

From the day we are born to the day we die… we are constantly distracted from what’s important and concentrate on thinking. And after a while, we begin to identify our whole being with our mind and thinking. This is a mistake. 

We are More Than Our Mind 

It’s only the great sages, the great seers of India, China, the Middle East, and Native American and other spiritual leaders around the world who understand that we are more than our mind. In all the spiritual texts it talks about the fact that we are a soul, a constant being within, which watches over everything. And our soul is always in a state of deep peace. 

How Do We Connect to Our Soul and Find Deep Inner Peace?

Most people are too busy to reach out to their soul. In fact, they never take the time to even understand who they are deep down inside. Silence is the answer, to go within and meditate, to contemplate, to find the true self, that is the answer to calming our mind and finding our true self. But are you willing and interested enough to go within and find your inner peace? That is the big question?

“Case Study – Lowering BP from 143/80 to 123/70 with Deep Breathing”

“Without Medications or Herbs”  

A man came to me who had uncontrolled high blood pressure that was very high 143/80 and even medications would not lower his blood pressure. And he was coming off lots of medications… so it would be better for him to not take anything else such as herbs.

 

Recommended Deep Breathing 

I started him on a regiment of deep breathing for 20 to 30 minutes or more in the morning. And again doing the same deep breathing exercise in the evening just before going to bed. 

Result 

The result was amazing! Without taking any medications or herbs his blood pressure dropped from 143/80 to 123/70 overnight. — Wow! 

Here is the Deep Breathing Process

1 – Breathe in through your nose… breathe in a super deep breath… as deep as possible to the point where you can’t take in more air. 

2 – Then, breathe out slowly… breath out through your nose… relaxing with each breath. Make your outgoing breath as long as possible. 

3 – Repeat, breathe in again, as deep as possible through your nose and then breathe out very slowly. 

4 – Do this for 20 to 30 minutes or more… and twice a day. I’ve even had some people do this for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening with miraculous results.

Most people hold their breath and this causes aches, pains, tension, hormonal changes, and leads to disease. The very simple act of breathing deep can bring about lots of beneficial health changes… and it’s FREE

Breathing seems simple yet most people are caught in a constant cycle of holding their breath and not breathing much at all. And this causes great physical, mental, and inter-relationship stress… but it’s easy to change if we remind ourselves to breathe deep.

Even the prestigious Harvard Medical School has found the simple act of breathing deep has many health benefits that are taken for granted. Most people do chest breathing by trying to expand the top of their rib cage instead of breathing by using their diaphragm. Watch a baby in a newborn area of a hospital, these babies don’t have a care in the world and they breathe with their bellies going in and out. This is normal breathing and it’s also deep breathing. And deep breathing can also help us relax to a point that we start to understand other points of view… and have the ability to compromise.

We Have Less Fear – When we breathe deep it’s hard to be fearful, and thus we relax and let go of the past and center on the here-and-now. It’s hard to keep thinking about the past or the future when we keep our mind concentrating on breathing.

“Meditation Retreat That Awakens Enlightenment”

“A Super Powerful Process for Knowing Yourself”

Here is a simple month-long meditation exercise that helps a person to awaken their soul and find who they are deep down inside. This meditation exercise is for those who are really interested in pushing through everything that holds them back on their spiritual journey. This personal journey of meditation can be very easy or demanding depending on the person. 

“Meditation Retreat That Awakens Enlightenment” — “A Super Powerful Process of Knowing Yourself”

And this meditation process can be tailored to each individual… some people will find answers to the first week in 3 days… but might find that another week’s meditation process might take 8 or 9 days. So listen to your heart. But remember it would be best to put in as many hours as possible meditating. For some it might be 2 hours daily, others 4 hours daily, and still others it might be 8 hours daily. It will all depend on the person and how much they really want to break free of what’s holding them back now.  

Week One – This first week a person meditates on “How can I live my life in a way in order to be closer to God, Great Spirit, and the Universe”. This takes some real soul searching and asking the still small voice “What Could I Do Different” and really wanting to make changes. And wanting to make life better not only for yourself… but for all of mankind. This will take time… this is not a short quick answer. And after meditating for a while one should write down what comes up and thus you can look your answer later… to remind yourself what needs to be done. 

Week Two – The second week is not easy at all. It’s to meditate on all the pain and suffering we have caused others. We have to be honest… and note without exception where we have hurt people and caused suffering. Most people lock all of this away. But in order to become enlightened, we have to look at our shortcomings in order to become something different. Meditate for a while and also journal what comes up. 

Week Three – The third week is meditating on what your inner world, your feelings, what would they be like if you were filled with love 24/7. How would your feelings be different? What would your interactions with people be like? What would you feel if you were filled with love? What would the circumstances of your life look like? Would you still have anger? Would you become frustrated? Would you make some big changes? This takes time to figure out. So meditate and journal what you find during this week of soul-searching. 

Week Four – And the last week is to meditate on ways to change your thinking. During the last week, you meditated on how all of this would come together and change your life and thinking in significant ways. Without this last part, none of the first three weeks mean anything. Basically, you will be meditating on how you can bring all of this together in a practical way into your daily life? This is not easy, a person has to let go of preconceived ideas and ways of being in order to see the truth within. Let go of all things that would be impediments to this process… and know somehow it would work out. Just write it all down and then meditate some more. 

I know for sure this month-long meditation retreat will change your life forever.

“Mouthwatering Potato and Pumpkin Stew”

“Anti-inflammatory, Lowers Cholesterol, Anti-aging, Antibacterial, Prevents Cancer, Regulates Blood Sugar, Full of Omega 3 Oils, and More” 

Here is a mouthwatering fall stew that’s great tasting and full of lots of great nutrition. Full of Omega 3 oils, it’s anti-aging, antibacterial, High in protein, helps to prevent cancer, anti-inflammatory, lowers cholesterol, helps to regulate blood sugar, full of tryptophan for a good nights rest and so much more. And this recipe is super easy to make. I gave some of this stew to some neighbors and they loved it… and so did my wife. 

Another Whole-Foods Plant-Based Recipe

“Mouthwatering Potato and Pumpkin Stew” – “Anti-inflammatory, Lowers Cholesterol, Anti-aging, Antibacterial, Prevents Cancer, Regulates Blood Sugar, Full of Omega 3 Oils, and More”

Ingredients:

6 – Cups of Organic Potato Cut into Large Pieces, or you can use Name’ which is sometimes called Cinnamon Vine Tuber which is great for hormone balance, or Taro Root which has a super low glycemic index… all will taste great. 

5 – Cups of Organic Pumpkin Cut into Large Pieces, you don’t even have to remove the skin it becomes tender in this stew and it is full of nutrition. 

2 – Cups of Organic Sun Dried Tomatoes – Cut in Strips 

1 – Cup of Organic Green Bell Pepper – Chopped 

12 – Oz of Organic Cooked Kidney Beans 

 1 – Large Organic Yellow or White Onion – Chopped 

8 – Cloves of Organic Garlic – Minced 

2 – Tablespoons of Organic Tomato Paste 

2 – Tablespoons of Mrs. Dash Seasoning 

1- Teaspoon of Organic Turmeric Powder — Gives the Stew a Nice Yellow Color 

1 – Teaspoon of Fresh or Dried Organic Oregano 

1 – Teaspoon of Fresh or Dried Organic Thyme 

1 – Teaspoon of Fresh or Dried Organic Tarragon 

4 – Tablespoons of Organic Fresh or Dried Cilantro 

1/2 – Organic Plantain – Chopped Fine and Boiled – Then add this to the stew to thicken the stew 

3 – Organic Salt-Free Veggie Bouillon Cubes

Salt and Pepper to Taste 

Enough Filtered Water to Cover Everything

(Optional) – Hot Sauce if you like it hot 

In a large pot add the onions and garlic and a little bit of water and sauté in the water until translucent. Next, add everything else except the beans and plantain. When everything is tender add the beans and the plantains and cook until the broth becomes slightly thickened. Don’t overcook this stew or the pumpkin will fall apart.

Let cool and serve

Serves 12 people 

Served with a nice green salad this is a full spectrum meal
