Some people have been asking me about weight loss. First you should eat 5 or 6 small meals a day; you have to keep your metabolism up and running. Next I recommend L-Carnitine, studies at the University of California showed that L-Carnitine increases metabolism.
Now start getting up a ½ hour earlier, and walking, swimming, biking, weight training, dancing or whatever you enjoy for 30 minutes, get your heart rate up and sweat a little. Meditate for 15 minutes each morning-it will help you feel relaxed so you eat less. Eat lots of fruits and veggies-most of all lots of green leafy veggies, including cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, carrots, beets, cucumbers, and on and on.
If you don’t like the taste of veggies buy some Miracle Fruit Powder and take ½ teaspoon before eating and it will make veggies tastes great-in fact everything will taste great. Eat whole grains and stay away from red meat, bread, cheese, processed meats, sausage, sugar, mayo (use mustard), and salt. Limit your grains to once a day and eat fruits and veggies and chicken, fish, or tofu the rest of the day.
Stop eating at 7PM and go do something that makes you feel good. Don’t watch TV in the evening or use the computer, they only create anxiety so you eat more and gain more weight. Read a book or go out with friends, call a friend on the phone—that is the way to enjoy life.
