A smiling Buddha points to the sun and says, the impediment to knowing God is thinking we know God. One of the things that keeps us from God is our ideas of God. Concepts keep us disconnected from that which we think we know, yet in the end can never know.

The imperishable, the unknowable, and the all pervasive, is all around,

yet those who do not understand see nothing more than a poor soul pointing to the sky.
