Some of the foods that are very acidic and if consumed in overt amounts will cause disease are… alcohol, coffee, black tea, chocolate, mustard, miso, honey, jam, jelly, rice syrup, soy sauce, soda, vinegar, yeast, dried fruit, chicken, beef, eggs, farmed fish, pork, shellfish, cheese, dairy, artificial sweeteners, mushrooms, ketchup, mayo, butter, and of course salt of any kind.
Of course you can’t stay away from all of these food all the time, but life is about balance and having a balance of Alkaline Foods and Acidic Foods, with a little bit more on the alkaline side will keep you healthy.
