The Butternut, or White Walnut, or English Walnut is a tree that grows in North America. It can be made into a tea or used right off the tree. It works well for toothaches – take some of the bark off the tree (do not take too much so you don’t harm the tree) and place this with the inner side up and scrape with a knife and then place on your tooth and gum until the pain goes away, then spit out the bark. It can also be made into a tea for constipation, liver and skin disease.
