Once while working at the University I took group of 20 people to Tomales Bay for a crabbing trip. We went 2 miles across the bay in 3 flat bottom boats to a great spot. When we got there it was bright and sunny and we played football on the beach. We caught lots of crab, but about 5 PM it become very windy and we packed up and headed across the now white capped bay.
Water was breaking over the front of the boat. I WAS TERRIFIED! I thought we were going to die, so I said a prayer that we would make it back safely… and as soon as I did… a feeling of calm came over me saying everything would be OK. And we did make it back and I was so grateful!
Great faith calms even the heaviest storm within
