Health Benefits of Coriander

Coriander or Cilantro is used in cooking all the time but it does have great healing qualities. Coriander is full of oleic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid and palmitic acid which are all good for lowering cholesterol and for promoting cardiovascular health and it is very anti-inflammatory in action so it helps with arthritis too. Coriander also contains Linalool and Borneol oils that help with improving digestion, relaxing the GI tract, soothing away diarrhea, and eliminating gas. Coriander contains some iron and also helps promote better blood glucose levels. And Coriander is anti-septic in action and helps with mouth ulcers and sores. And last but not least Coriander can help remove small amounts of heavy metals from the body.
