Usually when we have a conflict with others there’s an inner conflict going on-something we are not willing to give up… such as:
I don’t want people looking down on me or ignore me,
I don’t want to look bad or stupid,
I want it done my way,
I don’t want to get involved,
I want people to feel sorry for me,
I want to be better than other people
and on… and on… and on.
Once we start healing these from the inside out, we don’t have as many conflicts.
