Healing Nausea

First of all why are you having nausea?-You need to figure that out-Prevention is Key.

Try making some ginger tea or chew on a slice of ginger… that always works well. Also Oregano made into a tea works well too, as does Raspberry Leaf Tea. Also Papaya Enzyme tablets that you can get at a health food store work well for helping calm your GI tract and helping you digest well, and Vitamin B-6 can also help with nausea. Activated Charcoal capsules can help greatly too–I take them often, Umeboshi is a sour plum from Japan and you can find it in Asian Stores and it is great for nausea. Aloe Vera is another great thing that I take every morning–take a 2 inch piece of Aloe and take off the skin and eat the insides — works great to settle the stomach and alkalize the body. Then there is the old standby Black Tea and Saltine Crackers, and good old Chamomile Tea–Great for just about anything. And of course some Aroma Therapy such as Lavender and Sandal Wood might help your stomach; you will have to pick the fragrance that’s soothing to you. And you might try acupressure — 1 1/2 to 2 inches up your arm from the point where your wrist bends place pressure with your thumb hard for about 2 minutes– then do the other side — works great for some people.
