Health Benefits of Coix Seed

Coix Seed or Jobs Tears or Chinese Pearl Barley grows almost every where… and they are high in protein and low in carbs. The seeds are made into flour and cooked in soups and stews and used in the normal way wheat flour would be used. It can be eaten just like cooked oats or rice… and puffed into a cereal that you can buy in the health food stores. It also can be made into a tea… and some people roast it and make it into a drink that can be used instead of coffee.
