I have also used bitter leaf for the treatment of skin rashes/infection. By just washing the leaves and scrubbing the affected part of the skin with a handful …it really works.

How much did you use to achieve the level that helped you?

I don’t have diabetes — I do take Bitter Leaf for good health and I believe in it’s healing abilities
My sugar level runs a little above what it should but not diabetic and I also take Neem–I have a tree growing in the
front yard and take that also.

And I take Fenugreek and many other herbs for sugar.

        They are all good.

You will have to experiment to see what works for you… each person is different.

In Africa they use Bitter Leaf in Food… so feel free to try different amounts.

How many glasses of bitterleaf juice is required daily, if you are taking it for overall health and wellness and not for any particular health reason (s)?

    • paulhaider says:

Take the least amount possible – try 1/4 glass and see how you feel.
If you feel good then don’t take any more… always go by how you feel.
Some herbs work for some people and some don’t, always trust what you are feeling in your body.

Let me know how you are doing in 30 days – if you follow my diet exactly

Healthy Gut from Eating Plants Prevents Chronic Diseases

A diet high in fiber from plant-based foods can enhance the activity and composition of the gut microbiota. According to a recent article published in Practical Diabetology, a diet high in whole grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables can reduce inflammation and prevent obesity and diabetes by enhancing the growth of healthy bacteria. A diet high in fat and animal products can lead to overgrowth of bacteria that cause inflammation and increase the risk of diabetes and certain types of cancer. Other healthy lifestyles choices such as exercising, getting enough sleep, and managing stress can also help. However, most experts agree that nutrition plays the most prominent role in improving gut health.
