Health Benefits of Finger Millet

Finger Millet is a grain grown in dry regions of the world is very high in protein, low in carbs, high in minerals, very high in methonine a good amino acid that is very hard to come by in most foods. Plus Finger Millet is easy for children to digest, gluten free, high in fiber and also lowers cholesterol helping to prevent heart attacks and strokes and lowers blood pressure. It also lowers blood glucose levels so it’s great for those who are diabetic. And the Nitriloside in Finger Millet has been show to help prevent cancer. Finger Millet can be made into flour and also used in soups, stews, and all kinds of healthy foods including great bread. And some people believe it can help you lose weight.

  1. The post on this nutritional flour is attractive. but to what extent does it lower blood sugar and by what physiological mechanism since the profile shows it also contains carbohydrate (about 10 times the protein value)?

      Thank you for your question – I have looked at this extensively and have
      found with my own research that it does have all those properties.

      In fact I use this flour myself and have seen it lower my blood glucose.

      If you want lots and lots of research – don’t look for natural agents – we don’t have the money for that.

      We have extensive knowledge going back years and we wish we did have lots of money for university studies.

      But for now only the drug companies have the type of money.

      But I am hopeful for things to change.
