Health Benefits of Lemon Grass

As I just planted some Lemon Grass in my yard I would like to talk about the healing qualities of Lemon Grass. Lemon Grass is very fragrant and grows all over the world.

Lemon Grass can be used in cooking and made into a tea and the other name for Lemon Grass is citronella so it also helps keep away mosquitoes and other flying pests. Lemon Grass contains one of the highest amounts of Beta Carotene and other anti-oxidants which help keep cancer away and other degenerative diseases. And Lemon Grass can be used for inflamed and red eyes and it works great! Lemon Grass is a good de-tox agent helping to reduce cholesterol, also helps with gout, and it’s very soothing and relaxing helping you to unwind. Plus Lemon Grass is also relaxing for the GI tract and soothes away those stomach pains… and in general it’s also good for the bladder and the kidneys.
