The University of Wisconsin did a study showing that if you drank a pint of Guinness a day that you cut your chances of clots forming and creating heart attacks. It seems to keep your blood from creating those nasty clots in your coronary arteries (seems to work just about as well as taking aspirin). And Guinness is full of lots of great anti-oxidants and that helps keep you from coming down with degenerative disease. Plus it seems to lower cholesterol, improves your ability to remember things thus helping with dementia… and also helps reduce diabetes too. And Guinness if full of iron that helps build your blood and oxygenates your brain.
I am not saying that you should drink… but a little bit of Guinness once in a while couldn’t hurt! But remember it does have calories.
