Jack-in-the-Pulpit is a flowering plant that grows in the States and have been used by the Native Americans for years. The roots are dried and cooked and then they can be used for getting rid of excess mucus from the lungs, coughing, and also for reducing pain and relaxing the nervous system. Jack-in-the Pulpit Roots are also used for the treatment of cancer by some people and it has also been used to treat convulsions and muscle spasms. Topically it has been used for treating skin problems such as abscesses, sores, and ulcers. And some people also use it for migraine headaches.
