Herbs that can Help You Quit Smoking

 

Perhaps you are on the verge of giving up smoking, here are some herbs that can help you with the cravings and also help you with the anxiety and stress of giving it up.

 

Lobelia is great for helping you get rid of the nicotine urge and also seems to make tobacco taste bad, and it also helps relax your mind and body too. Vervain is great for calming your nerves and also helping you get a good nights rest, which is important if you want to stop smoking. Mulungu was studied by big pharma as a great way to kick the habit too and it works.Plus there is St. Johns Wort which will brighten your mood and that will help you stop smoking too. And for women Black Cohosh will help you greatly with restlessness and anxiety and also help balance your hormones too. Hyssop will help clear your lungs and also help you relax and let go of the stressful feelings. Peppermint is great for relaxing and also helping your stomach feel better if your have GI related stress – Peppermint will work great for that. And if you are feeling depleted and totally exhausted and depressed you might take some Oat Straw Tea, which calms your mind and relaxes your body. And I find that if you need something more you might try the good old standby Valerian which is great for stress and helps you overcome the anxiety of giving up smoking.
