Health Benefits of Eating Organic
Eating Organic is very important. Some organic fruits and Veggies have more vitamins and minerals, but most importantly they don’t have all the hormones, pesticides, artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, chemicals to ripen, chemicals to preserve, artificial fertilizers, … and that’s important. In the British Isles thy use over 30 tones of pesticides a year… amazing. And organic farming puts back the trace minerals that we don’t have in our soils—good for the planet. One important thing is that organic almost always tastes better, and there is nothing like growing your own food and making sure it’s organic. I have a large urban garden with Plantains, Chinese Cherries, Logan Berries, Lemons, Figs, Jack Fruit, Pomegranates, Buddha’s Hand Citrus Fruit, Tangerines,
Squash, Onions, Tomatoes, Aloe, Okra, Leeks, Coffee, Tea, Lemon Grass, Papaya, Radishes, Broccoli, and lots of herbs…and more. Even if you live in an apartment you can grow food in pots and have more that you know what to do with.
