Natural Laundry Detergent—Simple and Cheap!

You can make your own laundry detergent and it is easy. Start with 1 liter of boiling water and add to that 2 cups of finally grated bar soap like Ivory (Use Some Sort of Simple Basic Soap with no fragrance) and let dissolve. Then pour into a bucket and add 2 cups of Borax Powder and 2 cups of Washing Soda and add enough water to make 8 liters. Dissolve everything and place in large plastic container and use ¼ cup per load of laundry. If you want to make things whiter then add a cup of vinegar to the mix and it will do the trick. Also if you want fragrance you can add a few drops of natural oils to the mix and it will give you the fragrance that you desire. Washing Soda and Borax can be found in any good store in the laundry supply area. This natural laundry soap is simple to make and easy to use and it is very inexpensive too! Plus it does not have all the chemicals that all the regular soaps have – these chemicals can produce cancer.
