Health Benefits of Spring Wild Mustard Greens

Now that spring is right around the corner Wild Mustard Greens will start popping up all over the place. And Mustard Greens contain lots of anti-inflammatory agents too thus helping with arthritis, and other inflammatory disease processes and cardiovascular disease. And Mustard Greens help in preventing homocysteine build up, which is very important for preventing cardiovascular disease. Mustard Greens are full of Vitamins A, B’s, C, E, and K and wonderful trace minerals and antioxidants that keep the body healthy. And Mustard Greens help detox your cells of all those nasty toxins we have in the environment. And Mustard Greens are low in calories and make some very tasty dishes. You can sauté them in a pan with garlic, and lemon zest, and add a touch of salt and pepper and you have a great side dish.
