Thanks Paul for a very enlightening article on licorice root and cfs. I’ve had cfs for over 5 years and have yet to find anything that REALLY helps. As other CFS patients have shared, it really is a debilitating illness and changes your life from the moment you get that initial flu or mono or … But, I keep researching and have learned a lot about licorice root and the positive effects it seems to have on cfs patients. I’ll be picking up some this week and will start slowly including it in my morning routine. I read a book today that shows a link between CFS patients with low blood pressure and licorice root. Somehow the licorice root works wonders for fatigue if you have low blood pressure. Wish me luck!

Take care of yourself and listen to your body… not everyone should take Licorice Root… and it should not be taken for more than a week to 10 days at a time.

But it can be repeated on regular intervolts with some time in between use.
