Health Benefits of Roadweed Herb

Roadweed Herb has been around since ancient times and has been use to treat GI problems for just about as long. Roadweed grows in Europe and in Asia and you find it a lot on the side of the road in Germany.

Roadweed contains pectines and mucilage that soothes the GI tract and works great for gastric ulcers.

And Roadweed is great for the lungs too! It soothes the lungs, and helps with asthma, bronchitis, flues, and colds. Plus it’s also healing for the urinary tract and the liver. It also lowers cholesterol and blood pressure and it makes a great gargle for sore throats and hoarseness associated with over using your voice.

Topically Roadweed is great for insect bites, and inflamed and ulcerated skin.

And Roadweed will give you a boost of vitality and energy too—it contains some caffeine! Roadweed contains Vitamins A, C, and K and also lots of great minerals.

And lots of people don’t know that if you are out backpacking long distances and your feet are getting sore… put some Roadweed leaves in your shoes next to your skin and this great plant will prevent blisters.
