Prudence is having forethought and planning which is mind based.
Wisdom is heart based, while using thought as a vehicle to express what the heart knows deep down inside.
Wisdom comes from self-knowledge, being self aware, and the willingness to ask questions of the self to find the basis for existence.
Wisdom is Divine Knowledge… coming from a place of love, guidance, truth, harmony, and peace.
Wisdom does not come from book learning… wisdom is based in being.
I have met many a beggar with great wisdom.
And sometimes prudence and wisdom do not go together.
For the Spiritually Wise are not truly interested in the material realm… they are more interested in the spiritual realm… to them spirit is the true reality.
Ask any Hopi Native American Elder… very wise people who believe that the spiritual world is much more real than this reality.
Wisdom comes from listening to the silence within… and connecting to the God within… thus also connecting to intuition.
