We are here to heal the world and every soul in it with our gifts.
If it be that one beggar is helped in some way… such as just being able to buy food–Great!
I remember a beggar down the street that I would talk to by the name of Ernie… he was a drug addict. I would bring him lunch and we got to talking and I gave him books to read.
Then one day we got to talking about “Choice and Your Power” and I told him that if this is what he wanted for his life then that was great and I was behind him 110%. Because his power of choice was all-powerful and not even all the great avatars would take away his power of choice.
The next day he told me he was going to get help with his addiction and go back to his family.
That was the last time I saw Ernie.
Could it be that Ernie was Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, or any of the other thousands of great Avatars that have come to this plane reincarnated?
No one knows… but I would do it over and over again because in my heart I know it is the right thing to do… to love and accept people for who they are and for their choices.
Give without expectation!
Give… and then give some more!
For in the end you are giving to yourself!
