Natural Ways of Healing Autoimmune Disease – Herbs, Supplements, and More

Do you know someone with immune mediated disease like lupus, thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune hepatitis, autoimmune anemia, myositis, or encephalomyelitis, inflammatory bowel disease, diabetes, myasthenia gravis, scleroderma, and other conditions. It’s very important to have a healthy diet full of green leafy veggies and fruits, fresh wild caught cold water fish, all organic and all none GMO foods. Also green juicing cucumbers, celery, and other green leafy veggies will help because they alkalize your body.

Studies with Quercetin shows it lowers inflammation and even help with autoimmune myocarditis – inflammation of the heart. Plus rose hips has worked wonders for rheumatoid arthritis in double blind studies.

New studies show that Alpha Lipoic Acid has the ability to help with inflammation. Plus getting out in the sun and soaking up some Vitamin D is very important for autoimmune mediated diseases.

Maca Root is very effective for lowing inflammation and helping with autoimmune disease… and it also helps balance your hormones. Cat’s Claw Bark is a great anti-inflammatory agent that boosts your immune system, plus it also helps with pain.

Bitter herbs help with inflammation such as: Barberry, ginseng, milk thistle, oregon grape, licorice root, they stimulate the immune system and help with autoimmune disease. (We eat a lot of sweets but hardly any bitters, bitters are life saving)
