Ankylosing Spondylitis is a genetic condition causing inflammation and the build up of bone on the spine, joints, and other areas because of inflammation… and can be healed. Some people have it so bad that their whole spine is fused, but there is hope!
In fact I have this condition, but now I am pain free — I recommend — Boswellia for the inflammation, boswellia is one of the best herbs on the market for getting rid of inflammation.
Devils Claw is wonderful for dealing with the pain of spondylitis in a natural way instead of taking over the counter pain killers.
Cramp Bark works wonders for the stiffness associated with spondylitis, sometimes the pain is so great that it starts spasms… and those spasms won’t go away until you take some cramp bark.
Wild Yam is another herb that will help with the inflammation and pain too… and University studies show that wild yam does a great job of getting rid of the inflammation.
White Willow Bark or (natural form of aspirin) is a good old standby that will always do the trick of getting rid of pain… and in larger doses will help with inflammation.

Also, figs, alfalfa, broccoli, all kinds of greens, sweet potatoes, lettuce, cabbage, and chlorella and spirulina are good alkalizing foods that should be consumed every day.
Boost your immune system with Ginseng, Ganoderma, Astragalus Root, Echinacea, Garlic, Turmeric, and Cat’s Claw. The more you support your immune system the less inflammation you will have. Plus make sure to take probiotics for a healthy gut, lots of studies show that the healthier your gut… the healthier you will be in general.
Stay away from wheat, wheat can be a major cause of inflammation and pain. In fact, have yourself check for Celiac Disease, this syndrome can cause lots of inflammation and eventually cause spondylosis. Barley and spelt are related to wheat so they should be taken out of your diet too, grains in general for some people can cause inflammation. Also stay away from soda, alcohol, fast food, processed food, artificial colors, unnecessary antibiotics, flavorings, preservatives, food additives and especially nitrates, nitrates are known for causing inflammation… plus SALT is a major cause of inflammation.
Also stay away from high fat foods that can cause uric acid build up, this will start the process of spondylosis and inflammation… and dairy products can also start the inflammation process. Remember to eat none GMO/organic foods and lots of veggies, water, and fish.
Detox your body, toxins cause inflammation and taking milk thistle, burdock root, and doing chelation therapy for heavy metals, and cold coffee enemas will cleans your body of toxins.
Go see a Chinese Herbalist or Doctor, they have many great formulas that have been around for over 3,000 years that work wonders for spondylosis, also Ayurvedic Medicine has lots of herbal remedies that will help. Exercise is important too, walk, swim, bike ride, weight train all of it is important for the health and well being of your body when you have inflammation. Just don’t over do it… moderation is key!
