1/2 Cup of Italian Seasoning Herbs without salt.

Black Pepper

Sea Salt

Spray the bottom of your large pasta pan with spray on oil, use it sparingly. Next saute the onions, red bell pepper, garlic, celery, garbanzo beans, and mushrooms until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are cooked. Now add the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, soy Italian sausage, and chili powder and let cook for 10 minutes and then add enough water to cover all the veggies, then add the pasta and then add more water to cover to the top of the pasta. Then cook until the pasta is just the way you like it, make sure to stir often so the pasta does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Next salt and pepper to taste, use the least amount of salt possible. Now add the freshly chopped asparagus and tomato and let cook for 1 more minute, then turn off the heat.

Let cool a little and you are ready to serve.

Makes a large pot of wonderful pasta that will keep in the frig for a week… and the left overs can be put in the freezer… great for when you come home from work and don’t feel like cooking.
