The Relaxed Soul on “Being Spiritual Means Having Will Power”

To be spiritual means having will power for a life full of healthy positive change.

It means getting up early and doing what needs to be done… and going to bed early so you have energy the next morning.

It means setting aside 15 to 20 minutes in morning for prayer and meditation.

It means taking 30 minutes to an hour every morning for exercise.

It means eating lots of healthy fruits, veggies, and letting go of unhealthy foods.

It means being aware of your thinking, thinking positive… and self correcting when you get off course.

It means having compassion… even when you are angry.

It means doing what you need to do… instead of doing what you want to do.

It means having an open mind… so that new ideas can take root and grow.

It means being aware of your feelings… and learning to understand your feelings and thus thrive.

It means choosing to be happy at all times.

It means being willing to admit when you are wrong… and making changes accordingly.

It means being willing to give of your time and money so that others can thrive.

It means being willing to be different… and following your own dream… even when it’s difficult.

No one said being spiritual was going to be easy… but it has great rewards!
