Petrocarpus or Indian Kino Wood – Powerful Medicine for Diabetes

This wonderful herb that as the ability to turn around diabetes and create health once again. Used in combination with other treatments this herb can help those suffering from high glucose levels.

The Petrocarpus tree grows tall and the stems, leaves, and even the bark of the tree can be used in herbal formulas.

The Petrocarpus tree grows in India, Sri Lanka, and in Nepal and it’s a time proven anti-inflammatory herb. The resins help with diabetes and many studies have shown that Petrocarpus may be able to regenerate beta-cells in the pancreas.

Petrocarpus also helps with the symptoms of diabetes such as excessive urination, burning pains in the arms and legs, needing to eat all the time, and weakness. The tree contains powerful antioxidants in the leaves, stems, bark and heartwood. Some of these compounds are chlorgenic, cissinapic acids, vanillic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, quercetin, ferulic acid, cis-p-coumaric acid and a few more.

Plus studies show that Pertrocarpus can lower cholesterol and triglycerides too. Studies show that Petrocarpus reduces total cholesterol, lowers LDL or bad cholesterol, and also lowers VLDL cholesterol.

And it has been found that Petrocarpus seems to work in a very similar fashion to resveratrol as a powerful antioxidant and anti-aging herbal remedy.

The wood of the Pertrocarpus tree can we used for treating diabetes by taking a large glass of water and putting in a few sticks of the heart wood and leaving it over night until the water turns brown. Then drinking the water 15 minutes before eating in the morning, then repeating the procedure and drinking another glass of the water 15 minutes before dinner.

You can even buy cups made from Pertocarpus wood that you use for about 30 days and then discard that cup and start with a new cup.

Plus Petrocarpus is a good astringent compound that also helps with gum disease and even toothaches. And because Petrocarpus has lots of antioxidants it prevents cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer. Petrocarpus also helps to prevent the spread of cancer tumors and it has antimicrobial qualities too… fighting against bacteria and viral infections.

Petrocarpus works well for skin problems such as rashes, boils, and sores. And Petrocarpus is wonderful as a anti-inflammatory so it works well for arthritis and other inflammatory conditions.
