DMG Supplement – Helps with Autism, Alzheimer’s, and Stress

Helps with Autism – Dimethylglycine or DMG is a supplement that has been around for a long time. And there have been some studies showing that it does seem to help those suffering from Autism. A study in the Journal of Child Neurology showing a marked improvement in all symptoms compared to a placebo group. And it also seems to work well for depression and seizures too.

In the liver DMG is broken down into glycine, glycine is a building block for hormones and neurotransmitters… thus it seems to help with speech improvement, eye contact, aggressive behavior, frustration, and other behaviors found in autism.

Natural Amino Acid – DMG is a natural amino acid that’s created in the body in very small amounts and also occurs in foods such as meats, beans, brewers yeast, seeds, and grains. DMG is glycine with 2 additional methyl groups attached that seems to do the work well for promoting the propagation of DNA, RNA, and antibodies. And in certain disease processes, and alcohol and drug abuse there seems to be a lower amount of DMG found in the body, thus it seems DMG is needed for treatment and for reversing the disease.

Anti-Aging & Stress – DMG also slows the aging process and helps with stress. It seems to increase oxygen to tissues and detox the body of lactic acid that builds up during exercise and times of stress, and works as a powerful antioxidant to heal the body of stress… at the same time boosting the immune system.

Gene Expression – It seems that DMG also interferes with gene expression, this may be very important for fighting autism, cancer, Alzheimer’s, and lots of other diseases that are linked to gene expression.

Lowers Cholesterol – DMG lowers cholesterol and triglycerides by boosting up fat metabolism and thus can work to create a much leaner body and promote a much more capable immune system at the same time.

Athletic Performance Builder – DMG has been used in Russia as an athletic performance boosting agent that increases stamina, building a strong cardiovascular system, and increasing metabolism… thus athletes are much quicker and agile with DMG. Even Mohammad Ali thought DMG was a powerful enhancement agent for getting into great shape.

Detoxing and Respiratory Boosting Agent – DMG works as a good detoxing agent for the whole body but especially for the liver and kidneys… and helping to rid the body of alcohol and drug cravings. At the same time DMG boosts circulation to the lungs and oxygen utilization… and seems to work as a great adaptogen for getting rid of stress.

Anti-Inflammatory Agent – DMG boosts your immune system and also decreases inflammation making it great for arthritis and many degenerative diseases including fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome… and DMG also prevents cataracts.

Diabetes – DMG helps to lower blood sugar and regulate blood sugar… and boost the production of insulin which is important for those suffering from diabetes.

Cardiovascular Support and Cancer – By lowering cholesterol and triglycerides, plus boosting glutathione production DMG also lowers homocysteine levels thus helping the body to deal with stress. By boosting the immune system DMG prevents cancer and protects the body from tumor formation.

Antimicrobial Agent – DMG works as a good antiviral, anti-fungal and antibacterial agent, and it also boosts your immune system thus making it important for fighting of all diseases.

    Will DMG interact with Ativan?

I just recently added Food Science DMG 250mg twice a day to my husband’s supplement protocol. He has a family history (mother’s side) of Alzheimers and at 73 had been starting to show some significant cognitive declines for the last few years. He seems much less stressed, clearer mentally, more organized, less emotional, despite going on a 4 hour flight by himself to visit family recently. His mood has also improved and he seems less crabby! I had been giving him two NOW 125mg caps for about a month, but the chewables (after just two days…) seem to have much more impact. I am very impressed and hopeful about this supplement in regards to his mental health.despite his family history.
