Orange, Peace, and Mango Sorbet – A Whole Foods Plant Based Recipe

This great tasting Whole Foods-Plant Based dessert that’s great tasting and very simple to make, so cold, smooth, and creamy that it makes your mouth water.

At first you may think this is an odd combination of fruits, but let me tell you, this is wonderful tasting sorbet… you will want more.

Orange, Peach, and Mango Sorbet


1 – Cup of Orange Slices Frozen

1 – Cup of Mango Slices Frozen

1/2 – Cup of Peach Slices Frozen

1 1/2 – Cups of any kind of milk of your choosing – Almond, Sunflower, Soy, etc.

Sweetener – Add the kind of sweetener that you like – perhaps honey, stevia, or agave nectar.

Add all of these ingredients into a powerful blender and mix all of it until thick and smooth.

Pour into cup and you have a frozen very healthy dessert that will do your body good.

Another sorbet that I love is frozen bananas and strawberries together – tastes like ice cream to me. – Wonderful

If you have left overs (more than likely you won’t) put it in a cup and freeze it for later, then let it thaw a little before serving.

Mangos are full of vitamins and minerals including Vitamins, A, B, C, E, and Calcium, Phosphorus, Selenium and Beta-Carotene, and even some protein. Mango contains phenols which are great antioxidants and anticancer chemicals and they are low in carbs. Mangos help protect against heart disease and other diseases, and are great for your skin helping to unclog your pores. Mangos are high in iron and slightly alkaline which helps your GI tract.

Peaches are a great detoxing agent for the kidneys, also contains lots of fiber, and lots of Vitamin A, C, E and Vitamin K too! Plus they have lots of trace minerals such as manganese for arthritis and diabetes, potassium for cardiovascular health and water regulation, calcium for strong bones, iron and copper for anemia, magnesium for enzyme creation and regulation, zinc for boosting your immune system and lots of antioxidants for keeping away cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer. Plus they are full powerful health agents that prevent macular degeneration, and Peaches can help you lose weight because they only have about 70 calories.

Oranges help prevent cardiovascular disease and especially thickening of the carotid artery. Also because oranges have lots of magnesium they also boost up bone density thus preventing osteoporosis and fractures. Plus oranges have lots of fiber for creating a great environment for probiotic bacteria to grow and promote colon health… and thus over all health. And when you eat oranges you also get a lot of cholecystokinin hormone that helps you to feel full and thus you lose weight. Not to mention all the wonderful antioxidant Vitamin C… and Oranges lower blood pressure too.
