The Relaxed Soul on “Grace”

Here is a wonderful painting that I remember from childhood, you might remember it too… just like someone else pointed it out to me the other day.

It always reminds me how small and insignificant we are.

It reminds me that in the whole scheme of things… we are less than a bit of dust in the vastness of the cosmos.

It reminds me to be grateful for even a slice of bread.

To give thanks when I have challenges… and to rejoice when my challenge are over.

And to be thankful for every challenge that comes my way.

So simple… yet so profound.

It also reminds me of my father… you used to say to me as I was walked out the door…

“Remember God”.

That memory always brings tears to my eyes… he was a great man.
