Natural Ways to Heal Chronic Ear Infections

Here are recommendations for preventing ear infections and for helping with earaches.

Childhood and adult ear infections have been on the rise over the years, and it has a lot to do with our lifestyle and what we eat.

And if we’re stressed to the max then our immune system will be depleted allowing invading bacteria to take over.

Garlic – Boost your immune system with garlic, take at least 2 to 4 cloves a garlic a day, chop them up and swallow them with water… or in a mixture of honey and water.

Avocado Seed – Boost your immune system even more with great avocado seed which is one of the most powerful immune boosting agents around. Take 2 or 3 slices every day of fresh avocado seed with honey.

Green Foods – Boost your immune system with the best healing foods around – lots of fresh organic non-GMO veggies – the more greens the better. Kale, broccoli, chard, turnip greens, lettuce, and chlorella (chlorella has every nutrient that you will ever need)… and anything other green food you can think of.

Eliminate – All GMO and None Organic Food, these foods are full of herbicides, pesticides, and other chemicals that are poisoning your immune system. Stop eating processed food, fast food, and anything with food additives, preservatives, artificial flavors, colors, and chemical additives of any kind… these foods are killing your immune system. And food allergies can cause ear problems too… so eliminate eggs, wheat, barley, spelt, corn, peanuts, soy, refined sugar, and all dairy products… these are all very common allergens that cause inflammation.

We have hormones and antibiotics in our meats, chicken, fish, and seafood that are depleting our immune system…  stay away from these foods too.

What to Eat – Eat organic non-GMO — whole fruits, whole veggies (lots of greens), and whole Grains!

Healing Oils – Make a mixture of 8 cloves of garlic, 1/2 cup of mullein, 1/8 cup of calendula, 1/2 cup of organic olive oil, 2 drops of eucalyptus oil, and 6 drops of tea tree oil, 1 drop of oregano oil, and 2 drops of lavender oil… and put this in a blender. Then put through a strainer and filter through cheese cloth. Warm the oil slightly, and put 3 or 4 drops in one ear… and let set for 15 minutes. Lay down so the oil stays in your ear, and the then repeat the process for the other ear. Repeat this process 3 or 4 times a day. This oil keeps well in the frig in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid for 7 to 10 days.

Onion – Take an onion and cut it in half and bake it in the oven until tender. Then let it cool… you want the onion to be nice and warm, but not hot, then hold the flat side to your ear, it should feel good. The warmth and the vapors of the onion seem to make earaches disappear.

Boswellia – This one of the most powerful natural anti-inflammatory agents around. Boswellia will help with pain, swelling, and redness. Take as directed on the package.

Probiotics – Probiotic bacteria are important for boosting your immune system. The more good bacteria you have in your colon the higher your level of immunity. Eat yogurt (take yogurt once in a great while) kimchi, natural sauerkraut, or capsules of probiotic bacteria that you can find at your local health food store which will get your natural immunity going.

Meditate – There is no better way to get rid of stress than through the use of meditation. Meditation can even boost your immune system, cause bad genes to not be expressed, and good genes to be expressed… thus you are healthier. And your brain gets bigger… cortical thickness enlarges. And as we age our gray matter starts to thin, this starts happening in our 20‘s. But those who meditate don’t have this happen, in fact they have bigger brains, feel more confident, get sick less often, and have very little stress.

Other Herbs – Thyme, elder flowers, licorice, astragalus, paudarco, cat’s claw, ginger, echinacea, goldenseal, olive leaf, and andrographis, all of which are good immune boosting herbs… and fight off bacteria and viruses can also help.

*** And if you don’t get better within a 2 to 4 days… go to a doctor… this can be very serious***
