QiGong is a very old practice of healing that started out like Tai Chi to create balance and also create healing. QiGong is some where between 3 and 4 thousand years old and has a great history of heal people. And it’s an art that one practices that creates calm, peace, and also works as a spiritual practice.
In Buddhism QiGong helps one to find enlightenment, in Confucianism is brings about awareness, and in Taoism it enlightens and bring about a powerful connection to nature that leads to long life. QiGong also brings about a feeling of wholeness, connectedness, confidence, and the ability to control and understand emotions.
QiGong works with movement, breath, and visualization all at the same time to move Chi or Ki into the body and thus heal all ills of the mind/body. QiGong or (Chi Kung) is about cultivating energy, and creating energy flow within the body.
There are many great QiGong Hospitals in China that do amazing healing work… healing diseases that modern medicine has no ability to heal… and at the same time increase vitality. The practice of QiGong made up of three parts – medical because it heals, part spiritual in nature, and also a martial arts like Karate or Aikido but it only deals with healing… not harming in any way.
There are QiGong Masters who can place their hands above a person, over a piece of aluminum foil with a damp paper towel underneath… then and all of a sudden steam starts to rise. The Masters hands are giving off energy that heats up the foil, and then transfers energy into the body. It’s pretty amazing to watch and there have been many people who have tried to prove this as a hoax but have not been successful… because it’s real. Studies have been done using gama cameras showing large amounts of energy coming off the hands of QiGong Masters.
When I was sick with my kidney disease my QiGong was the only thing that kept me going. I was so weak that I could not walk across the street, but by doing my daily regiment of QiGong I was up and going… do my work.
QiGong can help revitalise every system in the body including the cardiovascular, digestive, respiratory and more. QiGong creates youth to the body (it’s a very powerful anti-aging process) keeping grand masters feeling vital, flexible, and energetic on into very old age.
QiGong not only works with the body, but also brings about healing of the mind creating peace, harmony, happiness, and contentment… plus it also reduces stress.
There are many different forms of QiGong such as: Five Animals, Wild Goose, Dragon and Tiger, Eight Pieces of Brocade, Muscle-Tendon Change Classic, Primordial, Soaring Crane, Six Healing Sounds and more… all of which have powerful healing abilities.
There have been many studies about QiGong healing cancer, lowering blood pressure, getting rid of pain, increasing bone density, boosting the immune system, elevating mood, ending depression and anxiety, lowing cortisol levels and increasing brain serotonin levels.
