Jiaogulan – One of the Most Important Herbs for Exceptional Health and Longevity

This wonderful herb comes from China, Korea, Vietnam, India, and Japan and was first talked about in the 1400’s for creating long life. But Jiaogulan has been used down through the ages long before the Chinese Herbalist Zhu Xiao first described it in his great book “Materia Medica”.

Growing Jiaogulan Tea

Other Names – Jiaogulan has been called – “Five Leaf Ginseng” and “Immortality Tea” and it goes by many other names, but it’s not related to ginseng at all… and Jiaogulan has many of the great abilities of ginseng without any of the side effects.

Antioxidant – Jiaogulan can be bought as teas, tablets, and in capsules which are packed full of great antioxidants that stave off heart diseases, strokes, and cancer. It also works well to rid the body of free radicals thus helping to slow the aging process and prevent DNA damage.

Adaptogen for Stress – Jiaogulan is one of a few powerful adaptogenic herbs that help with stress and also gives a person energy… and staves off disease caused by stress (less than 1 in 4 thousand plants have adaptogenic abilities).

Adaptogens like ginseng, goji, gotu kola, and other herbs are important for reducing cortisol compounds, boosting your immune system, creating hormonal balance, and creating a feeling of calm. And adaptogens are well known for increasing endurance, vitality, and sexual performance.

Digestion – Jiaogulan helps a person get the most nutrients out of their food possible… and regulates the function of the digestive system.

Cancer – Research shows that Jiaogulan can inhibit cancer and stop tumor growth. And Jiaogulan tea is well know for increasing white blood cells which defend the body against invading agents. And it also boosts “T” killer cell production, thus Jiaogulan can help prevent prostate, kidney, lung, breast, uterus, esophagus, brain, skin, and brain cancer.

A study was done with rats that were injected with carcinogenic compounds and given Jiaogulan. The results were impressive, it clearly showed a delay in onset of cancer with far fewer tumors, thus showing Jiaogulan is great for cancer prevention.

Immunity Boosting Agent – Jiaogulan has the ability to increase Superoxide Dismutase which is a antioxidant that helps to prevent disease and cancer. Jiaogulan also boosts production of antibodies, phagocytes, lymphocytes, and more.

Lowers Cholesterol – A study was done with almost 1,000 people taking Jiaogulan showing it was very effective in lowering LDL or (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides by over 90%, and at the same time increasing HDL or (good cholesterol).

Hormone Balance – Jiaogulan is well known for balancing and regulating hormones throughout the body… thus creating health and wellness.

Cardiovascular Benefits – Since Jiaogulan lowers blood pressure, lowers cholesterol, and helps dilate blood vessels, and helps the heart have strong regular contractions… thus Jiaogulan has a very powerful ability to increase cardiovascular health. Jiaogulan also prevents platelets from sticking together preventing heart attacks and strokes.

Weight Loss – Jiaogulan boosts metabolism which helps with weight loss.

Bronchitis – Studies show that Jiaogulan is more than 90% effective in helping with bronchitis.

Lowers Blood Pressure – In clinical studies Jiaogulan increases nitrous oxide production that dilates cardiac blood vessels… thus it’s effective in lowering blood pressure by more than 80%. While ginseng is only 46% effective, and medication 96% effective. Thus making Jiaogulan a very effective natural blood pressure lowering compound.

Better Endurance and Strength – Jiaogulan is well known for helping the heart preform better with strong contractions and at the same time giving better long term strength and stamina… thus making it great for athletic performance and sexual activity. A study was done with over 200 athletes showing much better endurance, performance, and cardiac output.

Radiation Protection – Many studies show that Jiaogulan does a great job of protecting the body from gama, beta, and ultraviolet radiation.

Longevity – The people of Guizhou Province in China drink lots Jiaogulan, and are well known for living to be extremely old… many over 100 years old.

Detoxing Agent – Jiaogulan is a great detoxing agent for the liver… helping to rid the liver of toxins from food and environment.

Diabetes – Studies show Jiaogulan can lower blood glucose… making it important for those who suffer from diabetes.

More Alert – Jiaogulan allows you to be much more alert, and able to think much more clearly similar to ginseng… but without jitters or side effects.

Contains – Jiaogulan contains 4 times the healing saponin compounds (Gypenosides) than are found in panx ginseng… for a total of over 80 different saponin compounds. – Wow

And all of these compounds help regulate every system in the body including the digestive system, reproductive, cardiovascular, immune, and even create better cognitive function – thus it regulates every single thing that happens in the body.

Great Taste – I find Jiaogulan tea tastes a little bit like alfalfa… with a very nice earthy green taste similar to green tea.

No Side Effects – Jiaogulan to date has no side effects of any kind.

For my money Jiaogulan is one of the most important herbs for exceptional health!

– I take it daily
