There are lots of wonderful herbs that can help with septicemia or blood poisoning.
Take it Seriously – Septicemia is a life threatening problem, go see your doctor right away. Remember taking antibiotics is not great… but it’s much better than dying. But lately there have been lots of antibiotic resistant septicemias… caused by over use of antibiotics.
Here are a few recommendations for preventing and curing septicemia.
Prepare the Wound – Wash all minor wounds with soapy water and rinse with fresh water. Then flush with hydrogen peroxide and then dab on alcohol to sterilize the injury. And for cuts, burns, or any other type of injury use a good natural antibiotic cream or ointment that contains tea tree oil and turmeric, and use a bandaid. If you are traveling use one of those waterless alcohol gels for sanitizing your hands – works great in a pinch for minor skin wounds.
Humid Climates – In warm humid climates minor injuries can over night become life threatening… because moisture creates a breeding ground for bacteria.
Take Small Wounds Seriously – Minor wounds can become ragging infections fast if not taken seriously. So care for even the slightest little cut, abrasion, and rash… and even hangnails.
In fact I had a relative end up in the hospital with Septicemia a few months ago. And when I was young I had a hangnail that became infected… so please take care.
Turmeric – Turmeric is wonderful for treating small wounds, taking a couple grams a day of turmeric can help with redness, swelling, and pain. Plus turmeric is a great antibiotic that can make a lot of difference… and works together well with antibiotics.
Garlic – Everyone knows garlic is healthy, and garlic contains Allicin which is a powerful antibiotic which is 15 times more powerful than penicillin for killing bacteria. Chewing, chopping, and smashing a clove of garlic releases the Allicin oil for great health. At the same time garlic lowers cholesterol and boost the immune system thus helping to prevent cancer and other debilitating diseases. Take a clove of garlic and remove the skin, chop it up and take it with a little bit of honey every morning for great health and vitality.
Andrographis – Andrographis Paniculata or as some call it “The King of Bitters” is great!
Bitter herbs are good for you… you need bitter in your body to keep your body in balance. Andrographis is a great antibiotic and anti-inflammatory agent that boosts the immune system and kills invading agents.
Honey – Honey fights off invading bacterial and fungus. In tests honey was able to kill 50 to 60 different kinds of bacteria. And honey will boost your immune system making it strong to keep away cancer and other diseases.
Lime or Lemon Juice – Did you know that lime and lemon juice kills just about ever invading bacteria. Lime juice has been used down through ages to prevent cholera… and it works well for killing staphylococcus and other very hard to kill bacteria. Mixing a little salt and lime juice together is great for cleaning surfaces in the kitchen too. Plus limes and lemons contain oils full of powerful flavonoids that are effective antimicrobial agents… taking lemon or lime juice with water in the morning is great for the body!
Tea Tree Oil – Tea Tree Oil comes from the leaves of the Tea Tree. And it was used in World War II by the Swiss soldiers as a way to heal minor wounds. Tea Tree Oil is antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral… and it works great for rashes, abscesses, warts, hemorrhoids, insect bits, jock itch, dandruff, acne, blisters, athletes foot, and it’s also great in shampoos for cleaning hard contact lenses. And Tree Tree Oil works wonders in wound healing creams and ointments.
More Herbs – And here are a few other herbs that can help, ginger, nutmeg, oregon grape root, cloves, cumin, oregano, rosemary, lavender, basil, spearmint, cranberry, peppermint, sage, thyme, cinnamon, berberine, elderberry, echinacea, eucalyptus and more.
One More Thing – I normally don’t talk about commercial products, but if you have a terrible infection and your antibiotics are not working… then you might try MMS. I have seen MMS work for Septicemia when nothing else worked… including antibiotics. You can find MMS on-line, just google “buy MMS”.
