Many people have Osteoporosis and here is a way to heal that disease and live a long healthy life.
Scan – Have a bone scan and consult your doctor, you need to confirm that you do have bone loss.
Animal Protein – First of all animal protein creates an acid condition in the body, and because of that the body tries to buffer that acid by taking calcium from any source it can find, usually your bones.
Soda – Acid foods such as soda with all the phosphoric acid and carbonic acid creates an acid condition in the body… and that again forces the body to look for calcium to rebalance the body and that creates weak bones.
Chaste Tree Berry or Vitex – Chaste Tree Berry can help balance your hormones and thus help improve your estrogen balance… and thus help to retain calcium in your bones.

Estrogen Replacement – This is a personal decision that everyone has to make. Should I take estrogen in order to get my bones back in shape or not… consult your doctor.
Alkalizing Drinks – Drinking green juices daily will alkalize your body and help with the process of preventing acid from leaching calcium from your bones. This may or may not be enough to prevent Osteoporosis. But drinking green drinks is important for health in general… see Whole Foods/Plant Based Diet.
Strength Training – It’s important to stress your bones to the point that they grow stronger and that is where weight training comes in to play. Working out with weights convinces your body that your bones need to be stronger to deal with the weight that you are lifting… thus it moves more calcium into your bones for a much stronger skeletal system.
Eating Greens for Calcium and other Nutrients – Calcium is found in green leafy veggies that builds your bones and gets your skeleton back in shape. Kale, spinach, collard greens, turnip greens, chard, and any other kind of greens will do your body good. Stay away from diary products that usually are recommended for calcium… they will increase the acid in your system and exacerbate your Osteoporosis.
Chinese Traditional Medicine – There are many special herbs that are used in Chinese Traditional Medicine that can help with Osteoporosis. Check with your local Chinese Traditional Medicine Doctor in your area.
Herbs for Osteoporosis – Black pepper, onions, garlic, pigweed, cabbage, dandelion, parsley, red clover, horse tail, alfalfa, — all of these will either help strengthen bones, add calcium, or help with estrogen so you don’t lose calcium.
Lack of Activity – Lack of activity leads to Osteoporosis, keep moving, walk 5 miles a day, or swim 5 miles a day, it’s important.
Vitamin D – Get out in the sun and create your own Vitamin D which will strengthen your bones. Gardening is a great way to do this and it will keep you healthy… with lots of green leafy veggies too.
Too Much Coffee – Too much coffee will leach calcium from your bones. Of course one or two cups a day will not do anything so don’t worry… but if you drink the pot dry… need to cut back.
Stop Smoking – Smoking leaches calcium from your bones – time to stop smoking and have a long life.
Salt – Too much salt contributes to Osteoporosis so lose the salt shaker.
Soy – Soy contains lots of calcium and it’s not animal based so it will strengthen your bones.
Silicon and Strontium – Adding Silicon and Strontium supplements to your diet can strengthen your bones.
