Cabbage has many great health benefits that are amazing… lets take a look at this simple yet powerful veggie that will do your body good.

Kaempferol – Cabbage contains lots of Kaempferol which is amazing stuff considering it helps to prevent inflammation and thus arthritis and allergies, it’s a powerful antioxidant that helps to prevent cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer.

Antimicrobial – Kaempferol is a powerful antibacterial agent that kills bacteria.

Sulforaphane – Cabbage is one of the sulphur containing veggies that protect against cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. And it also helps to fight off DNA damage and free radicals thus helping to keep you disease free.

Vitamin C – Most people don’t think of Cabbage as having lots of Vitamin C  but it does. This powerful antioxidant helps to prevent disease, colds, flues, creates good looking skin, boosts your immune system and more. One cup of cabbage gives you more than your full dose of Vitamin C.

Weight Loss – Just about every diet on the planet allows cabbage because one cup of cabbage contains less than 45 calories, and its fat free and has very little carbs. Just what you need when you want to lose weight.
