We teach our children by example, we give them lots of stuff, and fill their lives with hoards of things that make them feel good for a while.
But later when the chips are down they feel abandoned, alone, and deceived.
What they need is a little part of who we are deep down inside, the stuff we can’t see, the stuff we hold in our heart… and feel deeply.
They need our wisdom, everything we’ve learned over many years, and our heart felt feelings.
Those are the things that fill the heart and make children feel good about being alive.
Thus they never feel abandoned or alone… because the God like part of us lives within their heart.
Thus they too become a little more like God, the Tao, and the Universe.
