There’s a growing population of people who are either allergic to caffeine, or who are highly sensitive to caffeine.
And sometimes caffeine can be life threatening to the point of putting a person in the hospital.
I know people who have been drinking green and black tea for years… but lately they’ve become highly allergic to caffeine, giving them terrible headaches, bouts of high blood pressure, chest pains, tachycardia, dizziness, and more.
So what can a person drink that will pick them up… and get them going in the morning?
Ground Roasted Grains – There are a lot of coffee alternatives on the market that are tasty and are completely caffeine free. Most are naturally flavoured, and when drank with nut milk they make a great way to wake up on the morning and have something hot to drink. You can find these coffee alternatives at your local health food store… or you can order them on line. Just google “Buy Coffee Alternatives”. Teeccino and Dandy Blend are just two of many different grain alternatives out there. Just google “buy coffee alternatives” and they will come up, or ask for them at your local health food store.
Ginseng and Honey Tea – This tasty warm drink will wake you up, get you going, and give you that energy you love. Ginseng is a powerful healing agent that boosts your immune system and also slows the ageing process. What better way to start your day. You can find ginseng and honey teas at Asian Markets or on-line.
Ajowain and Lemon Tea – This powerful tea is amazingly healing and is full of thymol that kills bacteria, viruses, and gives a person a peaceful feeling first thing in the morning. What better way to start your day. You can find Ajowain seeds on-line or ask for them at your local health food store.
Rooibos Tea – Rooibos tea is made from a flowering bush that grows in Africa. It has a wonderful flavour that will pick you up… and give you something hot to drink in the morning – many people love this tea. It’s naturally caffeine free and will do your body good by being full of lots of powerful antioxidants and it also increases circulation. You can find Rooibos tea on-line or ask for it at your local health food store.
Vanilla, Molasses, & Goji Latte – Here’s a morning drink that I make that’s great. Take a cup of nut milk and add a teaspoon of vanilla, a 1/2 teaspoon of molasses, and then add 1/8 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger, a small amount of black pepper and anise, 10 dried goji berries, then sweeten with the sweetener of your choice, and blend in a powerful blender on high. Then heat it up and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top… for a spicy hot beverage that’s wonderful to wake up too. Cinnamon, ginger, and anise are powerful healing agents, and goji berries are also healing… plus they give you long lasting energy!
Herbal Teas – There are all kinds of herbal teas on the market that taste great. And they will keep you going… especially if you add some ginseng and goji to them.
There you have it… lots of caffeine free great tasting drinks to get you going in the morning.
