Corlyus americana or American Hazel Nuts is a hedgerow or short tree that grows rapidly and is very common in cool climates with lots of water.

Commercially Grown – This natural source of food has been commercialized and is grown in mass production in Oregon, Washington, but also in Europe and the UK, China, Iran, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and other countries. Turkey has the largest production of Hazel Nuts in the world.
