“T & G Burger – A Vegan Recipe”

Here’s a great vegan burger I call the “T & G Burger”.

T and G Burger

T and G Burger

Full of Turmeric and Garlic.

Turmeric and Garlic are very healing, and this great tasting burger will heal your body and sooth your soul at the same time — Crunchy, Tasty, and Full of Flavor!

Ingredients:

Makes 4 Large Burgers

1 1/2 cups – Organic Brown Rice Cooked in Veggie Stock

1/2 cup – Cooked Diced Organic Carrots

1/2 cup – Organic Vegan Egg Replacement

1/2 cup – Cooked Organic Corn

2 cups – Organic Rolled Oats – Oatmeal

Enough nut milk to make your blender work

2 cups –  Baby Organic Greens

1 – Large Organic Tomato – Sliced

1 – Large Organic Red Pepper – Diced

1 1/2 – Teaspoons of Turmeric Powder

6 or 7 – Large Cloves of Garlic

1 – Teaspoon of Garlic Powder – adds additional flavor

Salt and Pepper to Taste – Use salt sparingly

(Optional) – Red Pepper or Pepper Sauce – if you like it spicy.

Add together the cooked brown rice, corn, carrots, egg replacement, turmeric, garlic cloves, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and enough nut milk to make your blender work. Bend until smooth… and then taste to see if you need more salt and pepper.

Remove from blender into a large bowl and add baby greens, diced red pepper, and oatmeal and mix with your hands or a spoon until it becomes firm enough to holds its shape. May need to add more nut milk or oatmeal for the right consistency.

Next spray a cookie sheet with a little organic oil of your choice and place 4 large round balls of burger on the cookie sheet. Then spray the balls of burger with a little spray oil so they brown.

Place in a 450 degree oven until golden brown.

Remove with a spatula from cookie sheet and let cool slightly.

Place on any kind of vegan bun that you like… lots of health food stores carry these now.

Here I made my own quick biscuit buns which are very easy – Use any kind of vegan organic none gluten flour, a little salt, a little egg replacement powder, baking soda, and nut milk – mix together, form into balls, place on a oiled cookie sheet. Spray each biscuit dough ball with a little oil so they brown… and then bake until brown in a 350 degree oven.

Top your T & G burgers with tomato, baby greens (these baby greens are chard, kale, and spinach for extra healing ability) and a slice of tomato and what ever condiments you like.

I love Mustard So that is what you see.

Here’s to your good health!!!
