Sometimes we enjoy a warm meal, and other times we enjoy something hot… but still want to have those fresh crisp veggies that are very tasty.
This recipe is very simple and tasty at the same time… at our house we have this recipe once a week.
1- Package of Organic Asian Brown Rice Noodles – Prepare according to directions… or you can used any other kind of noodle of your choice. Sometimes I use buckwheat noodles for a alternative look and texture.
1/4 – Cup of sliced organic red bell pepper.
1/4 – Cup of sliced organic yellow mustard greens with flowers.
1/4 – Cup of sliced organic asparagus.
1/4 – Cup of diced organic tomato.
You can used any kind of veggie you like… be creative.
Small Amount – of organic ginger slices.
Small Amount – of wasabi paste.
(Optional) – Hot organic veggie broth to pour over the noodles at the last moment.
(Optional) – Fresh Cilantro, Fresh Sprouts, Fresh Lime Leaves, and Slices of Hot Chilies
Condiments – Asian Hot Mustard, or Low Sodium Soy Sauce, or Asian Sweet Chili Sauce, or Hoisin Sauce, or Chee Hou Sauce, or any other sauce that you can find that is all natural.
Prepare your noodles as directed – place a small amount in a bowl, and keep the rest in the frig so you can make this recipe whenever want.
Place your cut up veggies on the side of the bowl on top the noodles… and then add condiments of your choice and enjoy!
Or if you love hot food…pour on hot veggie broth and then enjoy with the condiments of your choice.
My wife likes her noodle bowl very hot… and I enjoy it warm but spicy with a little hot asian chili sauce.
Simple and Divine – Enjoy!
