Also B Vitamins for vitality and good mood, plus Vitamin K to prevent excess clotting, phosphorus and calcium for strong bones, magnesium for enzyme production, and zinc for preventing colds and flues.

Saponins – Sheep Sorrel contains lots of great saponin compounds such as quercetin and anthraquinones, and tannins that help to prevent cancer and are powerful antioxidants.

Antioxidants – Sheep Sorrel helps to prevent DNA damage and gets rid of free radicals thus slowing the aging process.

Side Effects – Large doses of Sheep Sorrel can cause diarrhea and cramps. And Sheep Sorrel does contain oxalates… so check with your doctor.
