“Organic Quinoa Pizza Crust”

Low Fat, Gluten Free, and Vegan Quinoa Pizza Crust 

Here is a very super simple, fast, and easy way to make a gluten free pizza crust.

And quinoa is full of great protein… that’s always a plus.

And these crusts holds together pretty well – very nice for gluten free.


4 – Cups of cooked organic quinoa

Enough water to make the high speed blender work properly.

Organic spray oil of your choice for spraying the pizza pan.

(optional) – You could also add rosemary or Italian seasoning to the crust… and a dash of salt if you like… or any other kind of seasoning… be creative.


Take some quinoa and cook in the normal way, then take 4 cups of cooked quinoa and place it a powerful blender. Add just enough water or nut milk to make the blender move – remember not too much liquid… then pulse and blend until smooth, thick, and sticky.

Spray a pizza pan with a little organic oil – not too much! Then pour your quinoa batter into the pan and spread it into a nice layer.

Place in a 450 degree oven until golden brown. If you like a crispy crust let it get very brown… then remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Then top with your favorite pizza toppings.

You can freeze these pizza crusts for later use.

I usually make 4 or 5 of these pizza crusts and put them in the freezer.

You can use these crusts for desserts (just don’t brown them much), and if the batter is spread thinner I think you could use it like crepes.

And these crusts puff up, and could be used like soft puff pastry.
