Helps With – Camellia oil promotes great looking skin, nice hair, and good health.
Where it Grows – Camellia oil comes from the seeds of the Camellia Oliefera plant or tree that grows in the high mountains of Asia and Japan. The plant has beautiful white flowers… and in Japan camellia oil is known as tsubaki yu.
Not to Be Confused With – Some call the camilla plant a tea plant, but it’s not the same as the tea we use as a beverage which is Camellia Sinensis… and not Tea Tree Oil which is not edible.
History – Geishas in Japan have been using camellia oil for years for great looking skin and hair. And the Samurai warriors also used camellia oil on their swords to keep them from rusting.
Skin – The nice thing about camellia oil is that it absorbs into the skin just about as fast as water – Amazing!
Camellia oil is great for dry skin, wrinkled skin, crows feet, stretch marks, and lines… plus it also protects and nourishes skin.
Camellia oil gets right down into your elastin and collagen of your skin… and helps to keep your skin looking and feeling great.
Massage in 3 or 4 drops of oil ever night and ever morning and your skin will look great.
No Irritation – Most people find that camellia oil does not cause any kind of irritation… and works great on sensitive skin… and it never clogs pores.
Used in Cosmetics – Camellia oil is used in lots of cosmetics including facial creams, eye creams, skin cleansers, glossy skin cosmetics, acne products, and more.
Skin Wounds – In China camellia oil is well known for helping with skin wounds and preventing skin infections.
Hair – Camellia oil makes your hair softer and gives it a nice lustrous shine. Use 3 to 6 drops of camellia oil and massage it into your scalp and hair, and then let it set for a half hour, then rinse it off for wonderful looking hair.
Nails – Massaging camellia oil into the nails brings about strong healthy nails.
Omega Oils – Camellia oil contains fatty acids that help to keep your skin look young and youthful… contains omega 3, 6, and 9 oils.
UV Protector – Camellia oil is also a good ultraviolet ray protector for the skin.
Antioxidant – Camellia oil is a powerful antioxidant and works well for preventing DNA damage and slowing the aging process. Also helps with cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer.
Cancer – The equivalent of the FDA in Japan has recognized that camellia oil helps to prevent lung metastasis from melanomas (skin cancer).
GI Tract – Also in China camellia oil has been used for years for treating gastric ulcers, gastritis, and gastric reflux.
Contains – Camellia oil contains wonderful antioxidant vitamins such as vitamins A, B’s, C, and E… and it also contains wonderful polyphenols like the ones found in green tea… which help to ward of cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer.
Cooking – In Asia camellia oil is a common cooking oil and is used for stir fries, meat marinades, and dressings for salads. And camellia oil does not contain any kind of trans fat.
Lubricant – Camellia oil is a good lubricant that prevents metal from rusting… and does not cause problems with plastics and glues.
Stable – Camellia oil is very stable and will last for long periods of time… store in a cool, dry place.
