What is Metabolic Syndrome – Metabolic Syndrome is considered to be 5 indications that the body is out of balance.
These include excess body fat (obesity), high blood pressure, high triglycerides, high blood sugar levels, and high cholesterol. (Being 20 lbs or more over weight, blood pressure of 130/85 is considered border line high blood pressure or higher, triglycerides of 150 or higher, fasting blood sugar of over 100 to 110 or higher, and a total cholesterol of over 200 are risk factors for metabolic syndrome.)
What Does Metabolic Syndrome Create? – These 5 indicators greatly increase the risk of coming down with cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and other diseases including fungal, bacterial, and viral infections, gout, and much more.
What is the Cause? – Metabolic syndrome is caused by unhealthy lifestyle choices.
Also Causes – Metabolic syndrome because of not eating right, also causes increased acidity in the body, which in the long run causes inflammation… which is the precursor to almost all disease.
Plus not eating right causes colon bacteria to grow out of balance, allowing our good bacteria to be overwhelmed with bad bacteria… thus our immune system malfunctions. This in turn causes bacteria, viral, and fungal (candida) diseases to take over.
Stress – Stress is one of the key factors for metabolic syndrome. Stress in the form of emotional stress and bodily stress caused by poor lifestyle choices.
What Can We Do About It? – Changing our lifestyle choices changes the body, and thus all the risk factors of metabolic syndrome reverse… and we become healthy again.
Good Sleeping Habits – Most people in this day and age are not getting 8 hours of sleep. Lack of sleep causes stress, and that stress creates change in our immune system… thus lowering our immunity. It’s important to get at least 7.5 to 8 hours of rest every night.
Get up at 6 AM – Go to bed by 10 PM. You need to reset your circadian rhythms. You have two little cells that flash on and off every second in every organ of your body and especially your heart. And they know when you should be sleeping and when you should be up and awake.
If you go against this way of living it shortens your life span… listen to your body.
Good Eating Habits – Moving away from high fat and high calorie diets, eating less animal fats and proteins, and adding organic fruits and veggies has been shown in multiple studies to create health… and even cure people of cancer and other diseases. Good Exercise Habits -Being a couch potato leads to metabolic syndrome. Exercising at least 1 hour daily changes all of that… and creates great health.
Walking, swimming, jogging, weight training, aerobics, cross training, power yoga, and more gets our metabolism up and burning away excess calories.
Plus exercise invigorates our immune system at the same time.
There are been thousands of studies showing that exercise is vital to good health.

Stress and Meditation – Meditate first thing in the morning after going to the bathroom sit down and concentrate on your breathing – breathing in and out, if you find a thought coming into your head, say to yourself “I will get to that later and go back to your breathing”. Do this for 30 minutes… this gives the mind/body a rest.
Even during sleep your mind is not resting it’s dreaming and working things out. Meditation turns off the mind for a little while, and meditation takes practice and surrender to the process. Even Dr. Dean Ornish recommends Meditation, and Meditation has nothing to do with Religion, it’s about healing.
We now know that people who meditate have good genes expressed and bad genes are shut off and not expressed- Wow – Amazing Stuff! Meditate for 30 minutes first thing in the Morning and in the evening for 30 Minutes. – It will do your body good.
A new study at the University of California, San Francisco shows a 40% increase in telomerase, a special enzyme that slows aging for those who meditate.
It also shows a decrease in genes associated with inflammation and stress.
Meditation also creates balanced thinking, which creates less emotional stress. Life long meditators have less stress… and this has been proven with multiple studies.
