“Why Mothers Milk is Very Important”

Babies need mothers milk… mothers milk contains lots of powerful compounds.

Breast Feeding

Colostrum – The first Mothers Milk contains colostrum which is a thick yellow milk that contains lots of antibodies to boost up the immune system of your baby. Also lots of  wonderful nutrients that new borns babies need. Babies that don’t get that first mothers milk don’t do well and always have a week immune system.

Beta Carotene – The first mothers milk is yellow because it contains lots of B-carotene which is a powerful antioxidant.

Asthma – That first mothers milk also has powerful compounds that help to prevent asthma later in life.

Ear Infections – Mothers milk also helps to prevent ear infections in babies.

Diabetes – Mothers milk also helps to lower the risk of coming down with type 1 and 2 diabetes.

Lung Infections – Mothers milk lowers the risk of coming down with respiratory infections.

Good For Digestion – Mothers milk is easy to digest and thus helps babies thrive and grow strong. And thus your baby is less likely to come down with diarrhea, constipation, and gastroenteritis.

Colitis – Mothers milk also helps to prevent enterocolitis, a disease causing a breakdown of the tissues of the intestines. And studies show that not being breast feed is linked to colitis and Crohn’s disease later in life.

Lactoferrin – Lactoferrin found in mothers milk helps coat your babies intestines thus protecting the intestins from invasion by bacteria and viruses… also lactoferrin binds with lysozyme to kill bacteria.

Allergies – That first mothers milk helps to prevent allergies. And if a baby receives mothers milk for the first 6 months they are many times less likely to come down with allergies to dairy products. Better Cognitive Skills – Mothers milk also helps the brain to grow for better cognitive skills later in life. Studies show that babies who are breast feed have higher IQ scores at 4 years old.

SIDS – That first mothers milk is important for lowering the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome)… they have a 20 percent less chance of dying in the first year.

Disease – That first mothers milk boosts your babies IgA level (antibodies) thus helping to prevent diseases.

The Center for Disease Control recommends breast feeding babies to prevent diseases later in life. Breast feed babies also have a lower chance of coming down with – juvenile arthritis, leukemia, Hodgkin’s disease, and later in life helping to prevent breast cancer and MS.

Urine Infections – Breast feed babies are must less likely to come down with urinary tract infections.

Cancer – Studies show that mothers milk helps to reduce the risk of childhood cancers.

Cholesterol – Studies show that mothers milk helps to prevent high cholesterol later in life. Of course what we eat and our lifestyle later in life is also important.

Breast Milk Changes – Breast milk changes as the baby grows giving the baby exactly what he or she needs.

The Planet – Breast milk is good for the planet, there are no containers to throw away.

All Natural – Breast milk is all natural… especially if the mother is eating a good diet of organic foods.

Good for the Mother – Breast feeding is also good for the mother.

Breast feeding creates a wonderful mother child bond; helps to lower blood pressure; helps the mother feel more relaxed; breast feeding mothers get more rest than those feeding via a bottle because they can feed while in bed, and many more benefits.
