Peppermint is simple, and a cup of peppermint tea is amazingly healing. Peppermint has been found in every area of the globe going back thousands of years… and peppermint has even been found in ancient tombs in Egypt.

Liver and Gallbladder – Peppermint tea is one of the best rejuvenators for the liver… simple and effective, and soothes away gallbladder irritation.

Nasal Congestion – Peppermint also helps to relieve nasal congestion.

GI Tract – Peppermint is very soothing to the GI tract, helping with stomach aches and soothing away GI irritation.

Peppermint relaxes the smooth muscles of the intestines thus relieving spasms and chronic irritation.

Peppermint keeps the sphincter of the stomach open thus promoting good digestion and increasing transit trough the GI tract… great for when we eat too much.

Peppermint also helps with stomach pain, bloating, gas, and diarrhea.

Contains – Peppermint contains limonene, menthyl acetate, beta – pinene, menthol, beta-caryophyllene, menthone, beta-pinene, and more agents… all of which help to sooth away irritation and relax sooth muscle.

Foods – Peppermint is widely used in India, Europe, the Middle East, and especially Greece as a wonderful herb for spicing meats, candy, cakes, cookies, and other foods.

Used In – Peppermint is widely used in soaps, shampoos, lotions, oils, and other products to promote relaxation.

Teas – Peppermint can be grown in your yard and used as fresh leaves for tea, and dried leaves can be used for tea.

Other Forms – Also capsules of oils can be used for GI problems and more, topically oils can be used for skin challenges, and tinctures can be used for migraines and other challenges.

Dose – Take one teaspoon of peppermint leaves and add it to one cup of hot water and let steep for 5 minutes… use as needed. Capsules – take 1 or 2 capsules of peppermint oil twice a day.
